sooo those last sets were some photos from my most recent Native Revege visit: Flinder’s Region. we watered 8km of this years plantings and last years. using 1.5thousand litres… in a day and a bit. also I snipped down the tall wild oats… and managed to avoid all brown snakes.

it was pretty hot — hence the 4-hour drive to give the seedlings a chance.

thing I love about native revege besides habitat creation&rehabilitation&rewilding is summed up by the moto:: “if it doesn’t survive, it isn’t meant to be there.”

however artificially planting these region specific subspecies at contrived times, into an artificially altered environment — it is good to give them a decent start into an uncertain future  🙂
